we r starting a mini 3 day heatie wave, 96 today, 102, 102 then back to 93 then the mid 80's.  prolly dee last fur dee yeer.  I jus sleep thru it or fall asleep watching tv wif dee mum. I mught have to catch wun more sun bath before next week.

we woke up today and eberrything wuzza wet owtside, it rained, it wuzza cloudy all day yesserday an way cooler than nermal.  but meow dee sun izza owt!!!  dee mum hadda berry stressful week doin mum stuff.  she izza now ready fir pizza friday!  she izza thinkin potato pizza wif a lemon Alfredo as sauce!

Dee mum wood like to thank eberrywun fur there kind werdz.  Dee mum hadz an A-flutter or AFib episode that sent her to dee err. First wun and hopefully dee lass wun. they do not no wat cauzed it but now she haz medicinez and haz to go to dee cardyologist next week.  she sez gitting old suckz big time.

I izza ol laydee too, i turn 12 inna september dis yeer.  I izza catching sum late summer warmz by dee back door.

so dee mum ran owt ovva dee houze yesserday without serving me my lunch.  she did nawt return till afur 9 an it wuzza dark owt. she did serve me my lunch when she returned but i wuzza too discombobulated to eat it, but i did haz my treetz. then dee mum picked me up an hugged me.........she tole me she hadz to go to dee err room cuz her hartz wuzza doin a flippy floppy but she wuzza ok meow an that they took berry goodz care ovva her in dee err room an she hazza medicine to take now.  whew, so i hadz to take care ovva dee mum now.  win she wint to bed finally i jumped up on my side ovva dee bed an she covered my wif dee cubbers so dee cold air thingy wood not git me an i spooned dee mum into a deep sleep before i went owt to survey dee backyard thru dee big winder.

hours later dee mum camed owt and had to eat sum crackerz cuz her tummy wuzza  grrr-ing cuz she had not eating ennie food so win she went back to bedz i hadz to go in and sleep neer her feets to make sure she got back into a deep sleep to fix her hart. dee mum sed they haz to restart her hart to make dee flippy floppyz stop and it werked.

Eber wonder why they call it dee D-O-G daze ovva Summer?

The phrase is a reference to Sirius, the Dog Star. During the “Dog Days” period, the Sun occupies the same region of the sky as Sirius, the brightest star visible from any part of Earth. Sirius is part of the constellation Canis Major, the Greater Dog.

In the summer, Sirius rises and sets with the Sun. On July 23 specifically, it is in conjunction with the Sun, and because the star is so bright, the ancient Romans believed it actually gave off heat and added to the Sun’s warmth, accounting for the long stretch of sultry weather. They referred to this time as diēs caniculārēs, or “dog days.”

The term Dog Days of Summer came to mean the 20 days before and 20 days after this alignment of Sirius with the Sun, July 3 to August 11 each year. The dates have drifted slightly over centuries because of axial precession (the slow wobble of Earth’s axis), so the literal Sirius conjunction now lands a few days later than it did in Roman times.
