so dee mum ran owt ovva dee houze yesserday without serving me my lunch.  she did nawt return till afur 9 an it wuzza dark owt. she did serve me my lunch when she returned but i wuzza too discombobulated to eat it, but i did haz my treetz. then dee mum picked me up an hugged me.........she tole me she hadz to go to dee err room cuz her hartz wuzza doin a flippy floppy but she wuzza ok meow an that they took berry goodz care ovva her in dee err room an she hazza medicine to take now.  whew, so i hadz to take care ovva dee mum now.  win she wint to bed finally i jumped up on my side ovva dee bed an she covered my wif dee cubbers so dee cold air thingy wood not git me an i spooned dee mum into a deep sleep before i went owt to survey dee backyard thru dee big winder.

hours later dee mum camed owt and had to eat sum crackerz cuz her tummy wuzza  grrr-ing cuz she had not eating ennie food so win she went back to bedz i hadz to go in and sleep neer her feets to make sure she got back into a deep sleep to fix her hart. dee mum sed they haz to restart her hart to make dee flippy floppyz stop and it werked.

Eber wonder why they call it dee D-O-G daze ovva Summer?

The phrase is a reference to Sirius, the Dog Star. During the “Dog Days” period, the Sun occupies the same region of the sky as Sirius, the brightest star visible from any part of Earth. Sirius is part of the constellation Canis Major, the Greater Dog.

In the summer, Sirius rises and sets with the Sun. On July 23 specifically, it is in conjunction with the Sun, and because the star is so bright, the ancient Romans believed it actually gave off heat and added to the Sun’s warmth, accounting for the long stretch of sultry weather. They referred to this time as diēs caniculārēs, or “dog days.”

The term Dog Days of Summer came to mean the 20 days before and 20 days after this alignment of Sirius with the Sun, July 3 to August 11 each year. The dates have drifted slightly over centuries because of axial precession (the slow wobble of Earth’s axis), so the literal Sirius conjunction now lands a few days later than it did in Roman times.

Woah now! oh boy dee day afur the nip episode ovva my lass post i wuzza  in a berry wicked nip-hangover. afur breakie i slept all day and into dee late afur noon az dee mum hadz to go an git her teefs cleened so my lunch wuzza berry late but i wuz not reely up fur lunch and wuzza berry content to  sleep in my tunnel in dee mumz bedroom.   i finally hadz lunch win dee mum told me my lunch waz set owt fur me and it wuzza gonna go bad in dee heet iffen i did not git up and eat it. she put sum water and a churu squeezie on top.

dee mum found her ticket stubs fur dee Grateful Dead win they played at Cal Expo  in Sack-of-Tomatoez on August 4,5,6 1989, the furst yeer that dee mum moved to Sack-of-Tomatoez from the south of San Francisco bay area. Rite meow she izza listening to dee August 4th show, furst set.  Great vershun ovva Cassidy! dee band izza in fine form 37 yearz ago. I am tucked away back in my tunnel snoozin.  izza 100 degreez.  we only haz until Sunday fur the heetie wave to break.

 Happy Birthday Jerry!

Every year we deadheads celebrate Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead starting on Jerry's birthday August 1st till August 9th, the day Jerry died.  The celebration is called "The Days Between".

It's a time to remember all the wonderful times that we had together with all our deadhead family.  We would dance together for hours, reminisce after the show, go home and sleep and wake up and do it again the next day.  Some of our family has passed on as it has been 60 years so far, but I will remember all the good times.

Tonight dee mum will be watching JRAD, Joe Russo Almost Dead livestream from Santa Cruz California on nugs.com.  dee mum growed up about half an hour from santa cruz and spent a lot of time there in her youth.

Maybee i will git to play my blankie along wif sum songs tonite.
