In a Monday, June 8, appearance on local Louisiana radio, Johnson said Republicans in Congress need to address “the largest spending items” in the federal budget, including “Medicare, Medicaid and then things like Social Security.”
“They have to be adjusted and fixed,” the Louisiana Republican said on The Moon Griffon Show. “We have a plan to do that next year. And it’s critical.”
