Oh My Gosh, dad would totally say that's me. In fact, I did just that real early yesterday morning to mom. I typically sleep at the foot of their bed, but yesterday mom and dad woke to me practically growling in mom's sleepy face, letting them know that they let my dish get a little too close to empty. Sucks to be them...
I wake Lynn up by usin' da scratchie post she's silly 'nuff to have in da bedroom.. We kitties gotta make some kinda noise. How bout you Gidget? Singin' da song of our peeple or jumpin' up and down on da bed?
My three housemates are unbelievably patient with me. I've been sleeping in really late on the weekends - past noon- and they all patiently wait for breakfast to be served. I think Norma would stay in bed with me all day if I allowed that.

this is my comment... btw.
That pretty much covers it here too!
Mudpie has started resorting to violence - yesterday morning I got a sharp nail right in my earlobe! I think she almost pierced it!
That is an emergency.
Yep, we get that news flash every morning, usually around 3:30am.
That's funny, Gidget, even though none of the kitties here have ever done that. #1 says we're all sleepyheads.
Purrs,

Only cats demand breakfast at 3:00 am. What the h ....
Cats and their desire to have food; it's really fascinating, if it didn't mean we have to get up to open a can.
