Dee Mum should be running the U.S. of A!
Science is an excellent tool. When the science points a certain direction, it’s wise to consider going that way. When we learn more and can refine the direction even further, that’s also good.
Sometimes newer evidence shows us older things were not quite right. Then it’s our job to implement what we have learned, even if it changes. When my doctor told me a baby aspirin each day showed evidence of protecting women from colon cancer, I took one each day. When they further tested (another ten years) and realized the benefit did not quite outweigh the risk, the recommendation changed, and now I don’t take it. Does that mean my doc was wrong or treating me wrongly? No, it means as we learn more, we can do better.
It takes some semblance of brain power to study science, and none of those people appear to have any.
Great shirt and list. For a long time, we had a billboard a few blocks from the house debunking evolution. Our mom was so happy when it was changed out for something else. She would get upset every time she drove past it.
