Forgotten Man - Hypnotic Eye- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

My condolences to the Heartbreakers and all Tom's family.  I'm totally devastated.  Thank you Tom for all the joy.  What a gifted man to put upon this earth.  I wanted more time for him.  He deserved more time.  We deserved more time with him in this world.  Tom's music has been in my life since August 1977 when one of our crew took us to the Old Waldorf in S.F. to first see the Heartbreakers. We had a drink and a smoke with the guys after the show.  My heart hurts.  Sending love out there...... Your music is forever.........

My human is very sad too. The first arena show she ever got a photo pass to shoot was Tom Petty in San Diego. (Although don't tell anybody, she got the pass so that she could hang out with the guitarist in the opening band, who she liked a lot! She did take some awesome photos of Tom Petty, though, and Stevie Nicks too, who did a duet with him.)

What a sad time for the music industry, and for Tom Petty's family, friends, and fans. May he rest in peace.

Tom Petty made good songs. Jack and Diane was a favrite. But what bothers TBT is that Petty was 66 and he is 67...
