so it rained wenzday morning and wuz cloudy dee rest ovva dee day. this thurzday, we woke up an gess wat?   izza wuzza froggy agin!!!  oh yeah, an yesserday morning dee power wuz owt from 7 am till 11 am as somewun ran into a power pole ober by dee casino!  wrecked dee mumz mornin shed-dual. so she played catch up win dee power came back on.  today dee mum needz to forage fur foodz agin before dee holly daze!  she izza sorry she duz not post around, she sez she izza alwayz behind shed-dual (obvi!!).

Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, has spoken out against the recent decision to add President Donald Trump's name to the Kennedy Center 

 

The vote was not unanimous, that is a flat out lie!!! 

 Schlossberg has previously spoken out against the renaming of the Kennedy Center to honor Trump. Following the introduction of Onder's bill, he took to social media to argue that renaming the Kennedy Center would violate federal law.

According to Public Law 88-260, the Kennedy Center operates as an interactive memorial for the late president. Schlossberg shared a screenshot of the statute, which declares that, as of Dec. 2, 1983, "no additional memorials or plaques in the nature of memorials shall be designated or installed in the public areas of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts." 

"Trump is obsessed with being bigger than JFK, with minimizing the many heroes of our past, as if that elevates him. It doesn't," Schlossberg added. "But there's hope — art lasts forever, and no one can change what JFK and our shared history stands for."

President Donald Trump doubled down on his criticism of Rob Reiner, asserting today the slain Hollywood director was “a deranged person.”

“I wasn’t a fan of his at all,” Trump said from the Oval Office, less than a day after Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in what is being investigated as a homicide.

“He became like a deranged person – ‘Trump derangement syndrome.’ So, I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country,” he said.

The president’s remarks followed his post on Truth Social earlier today in which he suggested Reiner’s death stemmed from “Trump derangement syndrome.”

A range of lawmakers and other political figures, including multiple Republicans, have denounced the incendiary comments.

on dis side, dee parking lot.  those are all solar panels that provide power to dee lodge, but not today, berry little light frum dee sun.  see dee wet on dee ground?  dat izza not frum rain, dat izza frum dee wet, wet frog. and you shood be abull to see low mountains off in dee distance.

so i jus curl up in a ball and sleepz all day, only to wake fur lunch and sofa time with dee mum at nite.  i feel like Henri, le Chat Noir.
