📜 The Declaration of Feline Independence
We hold these truths to be self-evident:
That all cats deserve sunny windowsills.
That naps should be taken without interruption.
That every cat is entitled to a loving home.
And that shelter life should not last forever.
The fireworks only last one night.
A cat's gratitude lasts a lifetime.

For those of us in Metro Detroit, we've celebrated Canada Day and July 4th with the one huge fireworks show for decades.
Fireworks look the same from either side of the Detroit River.
