Dee mum grew up in santa clara(hello, that izza spanish, duh...) county, where dee sooper bowl jus got played.   san jose(wunce again spanish, duh....) area, dee mum grewz up with menny familiez ovva hispanic origins. meeny ovva her furrends ovva male and female purrswuashuns, their madres taught dee mum how to cook tortillas and quesadilas on dee stove burner and make other snackies.

as dee mum grew up, she taught her furrendz and boyfurrend how to cook these treats like she wuzza taught.  afur a night dancing to dee grateful dead in concert fur hourz, dee mum and her boyfurrend, house matez and furrendz wood come home at 1-2 am and shower and git in their jammies they wood cook fried eggz, tortillas cooked on dee burner and buttered, refritos and added salsa and avocados and wood feast at 2-3 am and go to bed and sleep fur 8-10 hours and git up an go to dee second or more of 3-5 nights of dee grateful dead and dance fur hours and do it all ofur agin.  this got to be a tradition at dee mums house in those days.

so do not go telling dee mum dat these peepull r all criminals jus becuz their skin izza different color.   they are beautiful loving and caring peepullz who treat yoo like familia when yoo r in their house, they feed yoo and take care of yoo. 

dee mum noz alot of spanish, dee mum can eben cuss in spanish.  so tell dee orinj wun he can shove a tortilla and sum refritos uppa hizza culo.

... I cannot speak Spanish, have no Spanish heritage. But am a PROUD grandmother to two amazing grands whose Mom, my wonderful daughter-in-law is Puerto Rican and so these two grands are of mixed heritage and are beautiful and smart and extraordinary young adults in every way possible.

In our tiny town we had lots of hard working Mexicans who are here to work and help their families. They are as friendly and helpful as any other person here. I do not like this ICE stuff happening.
