gidget…pawz UP two thiz dood and hiz wife for helpin theez catz…gettin 60 catz bak down safe lee iz way total lee kewl. eye liked how him keeped de kitteh named spruce π‼️πΈπ❤️
One of mine was rescued by a tree service guy after the cops, animal control, fire dept and SPCA told the lady who discovered her up the tree they couldn't help. The kitty was there three days, one of which was a blizzard, but she survived with only losing part of an ear to frostbite. She was a community cat so I adopted her and she has been here now since January 2013. Hooray for the heroes indeed !
Hurrah for these people ! One of mine was rescued by a tree service guy after three days about 60 feet up a tree in January of 2013...one day a near blizzard. A neighbor walking her dog heard the kitty hollering. She started by calling the county Animal Patrol...the cops .the fire dept...the SPCA...no one could help. So she called the local paper. The story ran next morning and I called to say I would come over and try to talk the cat down with a can of tuna (which she had tried herself) By the time I got off work a tree service guy had come and gotten the cat down...She couldn't keep her so I took her in. She lost half an ear to frostbite but has had a good life here since . Hooray for the heroes indeed !

We love these people!
I follow three different arborists/cat rescuers; one is in my town.
What a terrific story!
A true hero.

Good for them! I'm always happy to know there are cat rescue people out there who will help with cats stuck in trees.
Oh my, how amazing. Poor cats without their help, that would be awful.
